Good afternoon! Today I finished my scrap pile... well almost. I have like 3 or 4 pieces left, but I'm not going to count them because some of them are sewn or serged together and I will have to take them apart before I can cut them. Also, when Aimee gets back on Thursday, her and I will begin to cut and sort another pile of scraps, so I'll just add the couple of pieces that I wasn't able to finish to the new pile. Cutting and sorting scraps takes a long time, hence why this segment is called, "Scrap Wrangler 2!" Though before I began cutting scraps, I cut out a colorful XL, long sleeve, butterfly top with a peplum for Teresa. Jenny was in the sewing studio all day working hard. She was even able to begin sewing the top that I cut out. Teresa had to leave early for an appointment, but before she left a news reporter called and left Teresa a message asking her if she had a story to contribute. We all agreed that this would be a perfect advertising opportunity for Teresa and her business. This is good timing as well because Teresa is about to update her look by doing a photo-shoot to show what she has been up to lately. So to sum things up, we all might be on TV here in a couple of weeks! If so this will bring Teresa a lot of business, which also means more marbling, dyeing, and sewing will be in our future. More work will commence on Thursday, so I'll see you all then.
