It's here, it's finally here! Hey guys, today was the kick off day for the annual artisan and craft fair in Centennial Park in Nashville! I showed up early this morning and Aimee is taking the afternoon shift. I showed up at 9:30 to help Teresa price the merchandise before the fair began at 10. We got everything priced and the booth looked great! It was really cute and colorful, I may be biased, but I think that it was one of the best booths and Teresa definitely had the best marbling and dying at the fair, hands down! I sold a flower while I was there and Teresa sold four tops and a velvet scarf. I hope that she sells more later this afternoon and the rest of the weekend.
Teresa let me walk around the fair and let me check out the other booths too. I looked at every booth that had any textiles and was inspired by some of the colors and patterns. I also checked out some jewelry and art booths, it just showed me how creative people are nowadays. After I came back, Teresa left to take a break and so I stayed and watched the booth and that's when I made my first sale (a flower pin). Then I took time to finish making a flower pin that I had started a while ago. When Teresa came back, we tagged and added it to the rest of the bunch where it replaced the flower that I had just sold. I then watched Teresa's friends' booth. Her name is Vicki and her expertise is in weaving. That's how I finished my shift and hopefully Aimee has a good time with her shift as well, and I will see you all next week. Oh, and don't forget to check out the photo gallery for a couple of snapshots that I took of today's adventure.
